Attending the races at Lime Rock Park, I met the mom and sisters who own On the Run. Awesome people, super down to earth, and have excellent coffee!! I didn't try any of the food but everything looked delicious. If they even tasted half as good as they looked, you're winning. They earn all the stars!
Yum! We had breakfast egg sandwiches but the donuts looked delicious. They also have reasonably priced lunch sandwiches. We will be back.
A trip back in time to a handmade sandwich shop the way they used to be. The sandwiches are delicious, as are the cake slices and pudding desserts in the case. The service is exactly what it should be: knowledgeable, efficient, local. A local institution for lunch on the run, and well deserved best sandwich shop around.

This is a comfy, small town coffee shop, think hallmark movie. There were 3 women making coffee and breakfasts behind the counter and a gaggle of old men drinking coffee on the front porch. The inside is filled with fliers and pictures of local events and families. I came with a larger group getting coffee before a wedding. We ordered 2 lattes, 1 double shot espresso, and a few black coffees. It was all good. No complaints there. It was the atmosphere of drinking coffee on a dewy New England morning in the mountains that sold this place for me. I felt like I lived there my whole life and next time im in town, Ill be stopping by my local coffee shop in CT.
Good dirty chai drink. I should have said I wanted it hot, but it was a tasty iced drink. Lots of good looking food, from cookies to doughnuts to full meals. I will definitely come back when I'm in the area.
